Trials and tribulations of a trainee internet dj (aka how to make the boss go bald ) !!

Hi all, and welcome to the zany world known as Jamland. This was going to be a brief rundown, leading up to me going on air but as this is taking longer than even I anticipated, I thought I'd kick off with a brief intro as to why I decided to Dj. I cant remember when I first found Hottrax but I know it was sometime round November 2007. I followed Pandamonium and Vidman in ,as both have been friends for a few years .Things didn't go smoothly,

(the sign of things to come ) I was advised to d/l Winamp, which I did ,but couldn't get no sound ( was ok with tunes I knew I used to hear them in my head but it wasnt much fun with ones I didn't )so i used to just sit in chat room feeling uncomfortable.I then remembered windows media player EUREKA!!! Music. The first request i ever made was on Dec 7th ,but looking through archive in yahoo I mostly sat quiet enjoying other peoples requests and crack in the room.I don't know exactly when I found my feet ,and came out of my shell, but thats what the hottrax gang do they help even the shyest people overcome that, and welcome them into the folds of the family. It was mentioned a few times about me d'jing, and I laughed it off, I though heck I'm to shy to do that, and being Scottish no-one would understand a word I said.I then gave it some serious thought, and decided I wanted to try and give something back,as Hottrax and everyone involved from Dj's to chat room regulars has given so much to me,and for that I thank you all .I have been chatting to the boss and we have been trying to sort my system (and me ) out,we had hoped for me to be on air by now, but due to work and a few other set backs this was not to be.I am going to follow this post with a diary of trying to set things up ,but before I end this one I'd like to thank everybody for their support and friendship and for making me feel so welcome. Love ya'll. xxx
